Meet Kate – Trainee Driving Instructor Kate brings a wealth of real-world driving experience to Big Bears Driving School. With over a decade of train driving experience and 20 years of car driving experience, she offers a calm, patient, and supportive approach to teaching. Kate has also played a key role in helping to train our award-winning driving instructor when they first learned to drive, giving her a unique insight into what it takes to build confidence behind the wheel. Her friendly, encouraging style helps learners feel at ease while developing the skills needed to become safe and capable drivers. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build your confidence, Kate is committed to helping you achieve your driving goals.
Meet John – Trainee Driving Instructor John brings a wealth of real-world driving experience to Big Bears Driving School. After spending many years as a professional bus driver in London, he went on to train bus drivers, developing a calm, patient, and supportive teaching style. With decades of experience behind the wheel—and even successfully teaching his wife to drive—John understands that every learner is different. His relaxed approach helps build confidence, making lessons enjoyable while ensuring you develop the skills needed to become a safe and capable driver.
